Elisabeth Joy

Editor for StoryLight Press, Elisabeth Joy is also a young writer and loves devouring stories. Ever since she was little, she’s had a passion for finding errors and problems and fixing them. Elisabeth Joy is a master obfuscator, an incurable daydreamer, a seeker of little-known knowledge, and a writer at heart. While furthering her characters’ conflicts in a slew of different stories is her main vocation, she can often be found chasing after her service dog in training, lost in the captivating world of research, or catching up on Marvel movies. She published her first book, Trouble Lurks, in May of 2025. She’s also been featured in the King’s Daughters Story Collections: Joy, Everything, and No Clue.

Katja H. Labonté

Editor for StoryLight Press, Katja Labonté is a graduate of the UCSD Extension Program and holds a copyediting certificate. She has worked with various individuals and companies for over 5 years, and she has edited a variety of texts, from letters and web pages to novels and articles. She offers varying degrees of content, copy, and line editing, proofreading, and French translation services. She is published in the Springtime in Surry, Novelists in November, and Everything anthologies.
